Hi I have a betta 680 lifespace tank 280 litre fishtank, I'm currently using a jebao rw -8 and just wondering is this enough flow in my tank or should I get another? As I think I still have some dead spots in one corner of the tank.

Im running a 180 with an RW 15 on 50% power.
I prefer to have plenty of scope for additional flow if its required!

I have it on pulse (fastest setting) and it gives great flow throughout the tank

Just noticed I answered your post on another forum, Gimme a shout if your interested in the spare RW15 i have sitting here gathering dust

Just wanted to add to what hammie said. I am running a 4000 l/h blau running a 136l tank, on pulse as well. Always better to have alot of flow available rather than thinking do i have enough running one on full.

Multiple your water volume by 20 the answer is the size of the wavemaker/s you need minimum

So if you had 100ltrs x 20 = 2000. You need a wavemaker that is 2000lph

I've seen tanks multiplied by 40 for big sps tanks

I have a mixed reef and I multiple by 30 and it works fine, it takes time to get it perfect to suit all corals some will definitely have to be moved (lps) especially after you added the correct flow

Don't know anything about the rw8 so that's why I explained what I know, hope it helps
