upgrade of lighting system for 9 ft tank

hi all

I am going to upgrade lighting system to my 9 ft african cichlid tank, and am just looking for feedback and thoughts on what lights/systems would be best to use for tank to get best colour from fish.
i am not interested in lighting for plants( they don't last with cichlids)

all comments welcome , tank is 2 ft wide . hoping to cover full width ( can be any height as tank is enclosed in unit)

is there any good LED lighting systems out there (don't mind using 2*1200cm units)

another option is going with T5 unit (4 or 6 bulb??) - what bulb selection would suit best???
