  3. Click on "Edit your Profile"

Thanks for that information Darragh.
We'll make this a 'sticky' for a while to allow everyone to see how to add their avatars (nearly put aviators) and, more importantly since they were lost in the changeover, their locations again.

A quick 'refresh' for the benefit of everyone who hasn't yet added their location, it will save poor Dar lots of time reminding sellers to add it later.

Excellent, well done - you've even established your gender...but you'd hardly be female named Seamus, would you?

:o)

John
ps put Duzzy out of his misery with the identification (unless it's an ongoing quiz?). Actually, if it's what I think it is it's a bit of a 'jaded' specimen.

Furthering the ploy to keep this post 'active' we'll go slightly(?) off topic...I believe the fish is either an Aequidens Metae or a 'jaded' (as suggested) Brown Acara (Portalegrensis).
I realise they aren't Aequidens any more but old habits die hard.

should a sticky not stay at the top of the recent thread lists?

anyway, great new site i love the colour palette (see my signature, its the most visually offensive colour i could see) and WTF is the Karma on peoples profiles?! i know what it means just why is it there? do we get a prize for being really good or really bad?

Joey,
As far as I can see the sticky only stays at the top of its section, in this case Website Suggestions...which is good enough for the time being.

John
ps I don't know what Karma refers to either, but I'm sure Darragh does.

Hi,

Trying to do this but can't seem to find the option anywhere. Might be just me!

Any ideas?

Thanks Peter

Peter, things (and Forum servers) have changed a bit down the years since Darragh gave the information above - now it appears that we need to use the "Edit Your Details" function under "User Menu" to the left.
There are then three tabs - "Forum" - "Contact Info" and "Portrait" which should allow you to personalise things as you would like them to be.

Hope that helps,

John
