Also found the Pond Guru and his raving about this media. I'm setting up a new 300 litre freshwater tank so will have the Fluval FX4 external, looks like from his videos I need 3kgs of media along with the foams. The price seems steep mostly down to shipping at almost 38 euros makes the whole thing 100 euros or as good as.
Not sure yet if it's worth the upgrade. Any votes?

Hi , Dave . I have been using bio home ultimate for a few years now in my pond trickle tower in my canister filters on my tropicsl tank and in the sump on my cold water tank . I normally contact Richard the pond guru as his postage costs are cheaper than ebay. The media is expensive but you get what you pay for , certainly i would consider it the best media on the market
