Just a quick note to say I hope no-one suffers as a result of this - things are sounding quite bad so here's hoping we all escape relatively unscathed.

(Fingers firmly crossed for all of us).

A bit of a storm might make a few fish breed, maybe even Roberts angel fish!!!!

I also hope no ones power goes out and your tank get to cold or suffers because of no filtration.
From what I read about the storms in the USA, it was don’t feed your fish so the system has no extra waste to get rid of during a power outage.
So miss your morning feed people.

They've closed the schools, banks, transport etc. here and all we are getting is a good breezy day. Sun shining on and off with leaves blowing around. While I'm sure it's very, very bad on the west and south coasts etc. I feel they have been just a tad excitable about the rest of the country.
However, I do hope, where people are getting it bad, that everyone is safe. I know it will be rough in other places, we're thinking of you.

Replied by JohnH (John) on topic Hurricane Ophelia.
Good news for you Bill, but it's worsening here and if it's tracking North just keep your fingers crossed it passes around you.

It's been very windy, the sun has kept shining on and off, it did get a bit stronger but not enough to stop me working outside. It's dropping here now. windy with occasional gusts. Thankfully, we've missed the worst.
Strange thing is, anytime we get more than a drizzle of rain the power goes out, yet it hasn't even flickered here today!
Hope everyone else has come through it with no disasters.

Well it looks as though the hurricane in Dublin anyway was a bit of a non event , and the angels didnt spawn .

It's windier in Dublin now than it was earlier!
