After a nice spin down to carlow last night i picked up a Betta 680
from Chris, i taught this be nice way to get the girlfriend more active with the hobby
since this tank will be her own tank little did i know first thing this morning she was asking to
go buy some fish, looks like i be busy over the next few days, the wood is cut and ready to build
a Betta 680 Cabinet if anyone has advice on building a diy stand for this tank and sump please let me know before the build goes anything further, photos to follow so watch this space.
Ideas so far puffer fish or community tank with loads of small fish

Watching this closely as I bought a second hand 680 myself and the cabinet may need to be changed in the future, it has a little water damage.

Looks like water damage is the downfall of the
Flatpack unit. I resealed the tank last night, it had a bad leak on front and side bottom panel the unit is simple I just used 4x2 and it will be finish with plywood panels

One 8ft length of 4x2 €4 I think the full caust was about €35 but I needed wood screw's for another job there is no need for paint if you use panels but I had some spare paint leftover from another job and I used some to see how it would look.
