Now my nano tank is set up and running, I want to include a few sanills.
As the title post says I am looking for a few stomatella snails, as they are small, have a small shell so hopefully won't move rock about to much, and still will clean around.
It are these good things to have or should I avoid them?
where can I get 1 or 2?
Thanks again for your advice.

These are quite rare to get lol, unless they come in as a hitch hiker. I think i have a few in my M90, had a good few in my M60 before i took it down and think i got a good few of them into the other tank.

Maybe some cerith's would work, they dont usually move things around much. or Nassarius Snail (Nassarius sp.) they are small and will eat almost everything.

Thanks for that, I will look into those two instead. From what I read the stomatella are a bit like MTS for freshwater...either you love them or hate them and they breed like ummmmm snails?!

They breed every couple of weeks, well mine did, had a few hundred babies varying in sizes in my tanks. You just have to notice when they are doing it and turn off your powerheads and pumps to give them tiem to float into gaps of rocks and they will come out eventually.

I have a couple of baby turbos in my M90 now and well, about 8 of them so im a proud granddad lol.

Get a fast runner blue hermit as well for the tank, they are quick and cover most of the ground in a day in a small tank, they run rings around the place in my 5ft, just make sure to leave him some shells in a corner, otherwise they will eat snails (turbos and ceriths mainly due to their shell shape)
