Picked up a group of 4 these a while back along with the B. unimaculata. I've 1 male pictured below and 3 females. He did hold for a couple of days but since it was his 1st time and they're still young im putting it down to inexperience.

cool looking betta! will be getting 1st ever betta in few weeks. was wondering if there is such a thing as a more hardy version than other variety? presume the closer they are to wild stock the hardier/more fantastical the least hardy?

You could try Paradise fish to give you an idea of how Labyrinth fish behave etc, very hardy fish.
