I'm not too sure of their age, Sean. This female is around 2.5" so they have a couple of inches to grow yet, but I think they will want to spawn before they get to full size. I'm not sure if I should let them if they want or separate them now and keep them growing. I'd much prefer to grow them on a bit more.

If you want to grow them on more separate them now because they'll happily breed while young.
But id leave them too it to be honest.
I picked up some of these last week myself

Already separated into two batches for growing on. I'd much prefer to grow them before breeding in case a precedence is set. I think, though not 100%, that these fish are between 4" and 6" at maturity. I'd rather not encourage indiscriminate breeding at too young an age/size or we risk breeding problems into them.
