Managed, at long last, to bag myself a batch of wild, juvenile Betta splendens. Thank goodness these wonderful little species seem to be making a come-back. Arguably, a species that has done more for fish-keeping than any other species.

Honest, I don't keep them in polythene bags, I just photographed them before their release because I knew it would be a long time until I saw them again, and I was right, I only catch a fleeting glimpse of them now and then, but they will settle down as they grow.
