Given the amount of debris that comes up when cleaning tank gravel with siphon during partial water change how do you manage to clean fully planted tanks, especially those with carpeting plants.Or is it a matter of siphoning over the plants and leaving the rest?

Any advice welcome, also does Easy Carbo and Pro Fito work well ?

thank's.

Just hover over the plants and take up the waste. Also be careful on how much you feed so as not to produce too much waste. As for ferts they are ment to work well but I have not used them myself yet.

I use easy carbo and profito the last few months and see great results with them. As for waste, the stuff you miss could be useful to the plants not 100 percent thou just read it somewhere.
