My tank is sitting in a corner of a room that gets sunlight in the mornings. i cant move the tank and I am having constant algae issues.
i would normally have loads of plants in it but I currently have Uarus in there that savage any plants that go in.
Any suggestions as to what I can do ?

what type of algae Damian,
if it is black beard algae i would add a few young Siamese algae eaters, for most other types i would just add a few bristlenosed plecs, i wouldn't bother with a shoal of ottos as they will probably be eaten by your other fish, if you know anyone passing me i can give you a bag of Ancistrus triradiatus to add to the tank, nice small bristlenose and a good cleanup fish for algae
cheers
joe
